2ND ROUND OF SCREENING FOR ‘KOLKATA’S SHERA 15’ STARTED FROM TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 16th October, 2015: From today the ASIEWT is going to conduct the 2nd round of screening followed by the final round of screening in the Kolkata’s Shera 15 Sharad Samman Contest here in Kolkata. This is a very prestigious event happens every year conducted by the organization where one of the associates is timeofnorth.IN from North Bengal. Probably, TNI is the first media house to be associated with a Sharad Samman Contest in Kolkata as a major associate. The chief mentor of the even Mr. Anupam Barai while talking to TNI said that it’s a rigorous process of screening the puja pandals and also the efforts of the organizers, who have done brilliantly enough to make the arrangement in the tightly knit environment.” He also further said that “It’s really commendable for the puja committees that in such small spaces the puja committees could manage the Puja pandals with almost all the specifications laid down by the Kolkata’s police administration.” The judges were studiously chosen from various walks of life, who are having a rich hand on experience in aesthetics, administration, culture, education etc. Though they are not belonging to the so-called celebrity genre but they are doing the job on a very strict regimen almost 4 days are passed the survey ends at 5 am in the morning starting on the previous evening. The categories which are judged are on the basis of best Pandal decoration, Best Pratima (aesthetics), best arrangements, best security arrangement and much more. The final announcement will be done on Maha Sashti i.e. 19th October 2015, which will be telecast live on Srijon TV.
